Long Term Care Insurance
Statistics tell us that the lifetime
probability of becoming disabled in at least two activities of daily living or
of being cognitively impaired is 68% for people age 65 and older. The activities of daily living are: bathing and showering, self-feeding, functional mobility (moving from one place to the other), personal hygiene and grooming, and toilet hygiene.
Long Term Care is vital in that it provides peace of mind in providing protection as one enters their ‘golden’ years. It should always be considered part of one’s ‘retirement’ plan. |
